Free Minaret

In a November 2009 referendum, a constitutional amendment banning the construction of new minarets was approved by 57.5% of the participating voters. Only four of the 26 Swiss cantons, mostly in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, opposed the initiative.

Solar autoclave

Together with Solar Alternatives (India) and the Solare Brücke a solar steriliser was developed in 2003 . A prototype of a steam generator was built which is able to run an ordinary autoclave of 67l volume 3 to 4 times a day.
